Wind Cave National Park protects one of the oldest, longest, and most complex caves in the world.  A rare cave formation known as boxwork covers the walls and ceilings in a majority of the cave.  Wind cave contains 98% of the boxwork formations found around the world and is currently the fourth longest cave with just over 134 miles discovered to date.
